I know right, want me to be even more of a douchebag? I also got my degree at probably the best Film/TV studies in Northern Europe.

But what I actually meant my dear Anon was, that I have seen quite a few shows, more than the average person. I spend literally hours every day in an environment where we discuss entertainment. I have lectures upon lectures where I was taught about different ways you can make television shows and movies, what every genre should contain, I have been taught to analyze and critique films and television shows. And with all that, I still love the show. So yes my degree does gives me a different view* on entertainment than people who don't study it, just like a doctor knows more about the human body than me and a carpenter is better at building houses than I am. When you study something that is what happens, you learn more about that thing than people who don't study it.

Also while I am at it: if you look at my comment one more time, nowhere in it did I say the show was better than any other shows or that it is even a good show, I said I love the show.

*Note: Different, not better, but probably broader.
