As someone who follows this show, Amy's and Bernadette's character developments are great once they finally get to it. Especially Amy's after that brief break up with Sheldon (sitcoms man) where she took the initiative to be more confident.

Bernadette *has* no character development, unless you count "from cardboard cut-out to sociopathically abusive and despicable." M.Rauch is the most one-dimensional actor/actress I've ever seen on a successful mainstream program.
