One of the things that actually turned me off of it a little was the violence, weirdly. It kind of took it out of happy-shounen-funtimes for me.
And I didn't love the characters. I watched two seasons of it, but just... couldn't stick with it. The visuals are kind of cool, though. It definitely has attitude, and I wish more anime these days had that sort of thing.
