I was totally confused as to why it came out of nowhere as this popular thing in fandom. I remembered a JoJo's Bizarre Adventures game for the Dreamcast and wondered if it was something totally different with the same name, because why else would it become so popular 15 years later? Then I found out the history of the series.

Jojo has been popular throughout the whole rest of the world and America's only just catching up because it's been getting animated.
