""Marriage with kids"? There's one kid and we only found out about it, and it's in a very unhealthy relationship. "Nobody's single" yeah no Stuart, no Raj (yes he's had girlfriends but not for very long), nobody has any single parents...sure strikes me as going against the single life! While nobody may be gay it's been hinted that a few characters are bi. And Sheldon is asexual. Yes he and Amy had sex, but it was established very firmly that he did so because he knew it would make her happy, and that doesn't make him not ace."

But they couldn't let Raj be gay or bisexual, could they?

They couldn't let Sheldon remain single or celibate, could they?

They based an entire season around the build-up to a wedding, didn't they?

The show's not over and we've already had another wedding, haven't we?

Nobody on this show is single, gay, childfree, or not desperately searching for a plus-one.

Singleness is portrayed as selfish and pathetic.

There's nothing saying Raj isn't bi. Most people are sexually active at at least some point in their lives including aces. Building to a wedding says nothing about conformity and never monopolized every minute. Oh boy TWO weddings--still nothing about conformity or any of that other garbage. Most of the people on the show are childfree, there are lots of single characters, and honestly there not being a gay character says nothing about the show's view of relationships. Singleness has always been portrayed as just fine on the show idk what version you've been watching.

Like I said, Raj has the healthiest relationship on the show and it's with his dog. Nothing selfish or pathetic about that (yeah it's the target of jokes but so is every other combination of characters, and he's demonstrated to be the opposite of selfish with her).
