I think the light skin could actually be an accident because I know quite a few people who, if they don't have a lot of experience drawing darker skinned characters, don't really know how to properly shade darker skin so it turns out too light. It is too light, definitely, but probably not on purpose.

The face though...
I think it's the nose that is the most wrong when it comes to his facial structure. It looks nothing like Fenris' nose - completely wrong shape/size/everything.
