eh, I can understand being excited that one of your favorite books is getting adapted and then seeing that it's a big pile of shit. :( (disclaimer that I don't have strong feeling about the book, though I have read it, and I haven't seen the movies, just saying I understand this reaction, and it'll be a long time now before they have a shot at a better adaptation)
