"Bee stings barely hurt at all"--really? Maybe I am allergic then, because bee stings swell and hurt like fuck, but I've never had trouble breathing or a rash or anything from being stung. Just a lot of pain. I used to panic when bees got too close to me because being stung hurt so much. Now I don't panic, although I suppose I would if I pissed off a whole hive or something, because we have a hive on our property and if I panicked every time I saw a bee up close I'd die of a heart attack.

Well, the more you get stung by bees, the less it hurts, your body kind of starts recognizing the venom or something. The first couple times hurt a lot for most people, but if you keep getting stung more than once per year, it eventually really doesn't hurt or swell much after the initial prick. Maybe ayrt has been stung by bees several times.

And I guess it also varies from person to person. Some people are more sensitive to the venom than others.
