Warcraft movie.

Anyone else seen this yet??

I was presently surprised with how much I liked it, it's wasn't 100% amazing but I had fun watching it which is all I wanted. Also I want to know if anyone not familiar with the story could follow it because they threw a lot of information at you.

Also damn you movie making me love Durotan and Draka. :

My friend saw it (and god bless him, he tried to explain the backstory to me) and he loved the memes and just about everything about it.

I'm really grateful I don't need to be a game player to watch it, I'm excited.

I giggled like a loon at one point in the movie because of one of the in-game nods, and there were a few of those which I loved. Idk, I think I'm just happy with how it came out and I was nerding out a little at seeing a universe I've been invested in for so long coming to life on the big screen.

I hope you enjoy it. :)

I have yet to see it (since it ain't out here yet), but I am still sad they cut out the Leeroy Jenkins cameo. :C

Yeah I heard that was supposed to be in the movie and it made me sad that it got cut, it's not like it would have taken up any significant screentime and you wouldn't have had to name him either, just have some random human run out too soon and get twatted. WoW players would have gotten it and non-gamers would have probably chuckled if it was framed in the correct humorous light.

Well, there was supposed to be another saying something like "Corporal Jenkins!!" or something after he ran head first into the orcs, but that would have been the only real mention of his name.

Though a no-name doing that, in a humorous light, would have also worked.

That could have worked too tbh and it's a shame we didn't get it but ah well, there are some other in-game nods too so there's still something there.:)

This is very encouraging. I want to love this movie. I love fantasy, and there are so few fantasy movies coming out these days.

Hopefully it's fun as a general fantasy movie for non-game players as well, I can't judge that though since I know the lore they're rolling with. But I enjoyed the characters and how they made Azeroth look(though I still think the whole thing should have been CGI).

Haven't seen it yet, but it does seem interesting.
And, unlike the other movie I'm really looking forward to, it's coming out in Australia within a fortnight of the American release (mid-June)! As opposed to three months later -__-

Ha, yeah it's like animated movies for where I live, the US gets them like 4 months ahead of me so unless I'm lucky enough to avoid spoilers I'll know some of the plot points or twists before I ever get to see the film.

Although I've managed to do okay so far with animated movies this year...

Always the animated ones, yeah. So frustrating D:
You'd get them around school holidays? So that theatres can cash in on all the kiddies with too much time on their hands? (Because ~animated stuff is for kids~ *sigh*)
