This was a bit more of a boring episode, but I am still greatly enjoying this season over the last season.

I was not at all surprised to see Benjen. I recognized who it was as soon as I saw the eyes. But I am glad more Starks are reuniting. And Bran's flashbacks to the Mad King (and Jaime killing him) were awesome. I hope we see more of that.

Arya not killing the actress and then getting Needle. Fuck. Yes. And I can't wait for her to kill the waif. I can't wait for her to get back to the mainland.

Sam's mom is awesome. Love seeing a mother who loves her kids and doesn't seem to be up to anything nefarious.

Fucking Tommen. He is definitely the most useless of the Lannister children. I hope Margaery is just trying to trick people and isn't actually brainwashed.

Anddddd still sick of Dany's story line. It is equal parts boring and frustrating. Why is Drogon suddenly listening to her? Why is she acting like an insane warmonger? Does she not learn from past mistakes??????

Also, the reveal of Edmure was so anti-climatic for me because I had literally no idea who he was or why he was important.

Agree with you on basically everything, except the last one. I've had a really soft spot for the actor who plays Edmure (Tobias Menzies) ever since he played Brutus in Rome, so I was excited to see him return. LOL Same thing for the actor who plays Gendry (Joe Dempsie), so I'm always waiting for Gendry to eventually show up.

I don't hate Dany's story, but I do find it rather boring right now. I also felt the scene at the end of this episode didn't fit in with the rest of the episode. It felt like someone wanted to end the episode on Dany looking powerful and strong, as always, so they threw it into this one.
