2) Write: Just write. It can be self-indulgent Mary Sue fic that never sees the light of day. It can be drabbles on a kink meme. It can be moody introspection, or lighthearted silliness. Just write.
3) Save what you've written: One piece at a time, stash your writing so you'll find it months or years later after you've forgotten about it, and then, you'll read it as though it were brand new and unfamiliar. A piece can read completely differently when the only thing that's really changed is your perspective.
