oh please stop that "set off someone's dysphoria" BS excuse, pretty sure most trans actors coming across roles which feature their lives before transition are aware of what would be involved, they're not babies that need to be covered in bubble wrap, especially as an excuse for casting another bland cis person in their place.

Nobody is talking about bubble wrap. I'm talking about using that knowledge and thus NOT auditioning.

Again, nobody ever seems to bring up trans actors in general roles, only as playing trans people. I want to see trans actors in anything, even if there aren't trans characters, because otherwise it's demanding that they only ever play trans people. Do you bring them up for general roles or just trot the concept out to shit on cis people?
