AYRT--I don't watch OUAT anymore and haven't since season 3, I'm not even a Regina fan, and won't be until and unless the show addresses her raping Graham (so, never, basically) but the way Robin was written off was horrifying and felt like the writers taking a dump on Regina and Regina/Robin fans for no other reason than spite. Basically Emma lost her spine and her willingness to fight for underdogs when she fell for Hook, Snow and Charming were retconned from being good-hearted but stupid (aka check Regina's castle for captives when you defeat her before you let her go, maybe, so all the people with hearts in her vault aren't her unwilling slaves anymore?) to mustache-twirlingly cruel (baby-napping they didn't think counted because 'it's a monster dragon baby oops it's a human oh well), Zelena is redeemed after raping Robin, killing Marian, torturing Rumple, and engineering Neal's death... but it's a family show, guys, really! The moral guardian outrage over OUAT's blink and you'll miss them queer couple is totally misplaced, but they're right that it's morally fucked up, just not why.

I genuinely did not believe it was going to end that way. I was sure there was going to be some kind of plot twist that brought him back, but nope, that only happens to Emma. The morality in that show is all over the place and while I still love all the characters/actors, I cringed through the plotlines in this season.

I honestly feel bad for the actors now. The show's quality has deteriorated so much. Even in the early seasons, the show wasn't that amazing or anything. But it did have that fun, fantasy vibe going for it that worked. Now it's just embarrassing to watch. I noped out after Belle ditched Will Scarlet for Rumple for no good reason. That was the last straw.

That said, the last time I enjoyed the show was the Frozen arc. But I think that only worked so well because it was so well cast.
