03. Roseanne secret! I think it's very realistic too, even though really I'm more of a middle-class type from the suburbs. (Not that that's anything to brag about.) And Jackie did make me want a sister.

35. Almost all the fans I know I know over the internet anyway. Why should anyone care if I'm fat, if they're fat, or whatever? I'm not dating these people.

47. Not to take away from the secret but I'm 40 and I shop at Hot Topic. (I am embarrassed though.) Sometimes I bring my kid but she refuses to pretend I'm buying Death Note and Futurama T-shirts for her.

49. I'm afraid to apply for any RP too. I think my writing is OK but what if it's not what people are looking for in an RP, or they hate my take on the character? In the end it's OK for me because I spend way too much time online anyway... but sometimes I still envy my friends who are having a blast with it.

54. Again not to take away from the secret, but does anyone know where that fanart is from? I love it.

Art's from Wan-con, but the site's down. Someone posted a zip of all the art from it on

gyakuten_saiban a while back, and that's where I got it. He doesn't look sufficiently like a pimp in the official art.

Don't be embarrassed! My aunt is 53, buys Star Wars, Zim, and Zelda stuff there, and thinks nothing of it! :D

Now that I think about it plenty of their stuff is nostalgia (old school video games etc.) so I doubt everyone who shops there is in their teens. That does make me feel better.

The average age seems to be somewhere in the 20's, but with wild deviations in both directions.

But at heart, it seems to be a store for geeks of all ages. :P
