I got to see it yesterday, and despite apparently missing a lot of context for literally everything (never saw First Class or Days of Future Past), I thought it was good. Seeing Phoenix actually do something useful was badass.


And it was extra nice to see Quicksilver do something that isn't dying in a particularly stupid way after AOU.

Phoenix was awesome. I loved Jean in general. And Quicksilver is always great. I love both versions of him, but I love the comedy route they've taken with the X-Men movies with him. It is really great.

The whole evacuation scene to Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) was my favorite part. Poor Havok though, I squealed when they mentioned his name, and then whoops, he's dead. :(
