Another weekend comes and I have no plans. Right now I'm still deciding what to eat after I finish my cucumber slices: strawberries, or chocolate?

I might go to the humane society and play with the kittehs, because my heart breaks for kittehs. I might write a little bit. I have to pay my rent. Call the parental units. That sort of thing.

I'm also deliberating on whether or not to apply for a position in my organization. I spoke to a friend who works in that division and she smoothed away some of the reasons behind my hesitation, but I'm still debating with myself.

I'm doing both. With moscato. Delicious moscato.

Right now I work in a joint City/County department, and it's fairly miserable. The city has an opening for the Uptown Manager position, and I'd be good at it. I've got grant writing experience, event planning experience, planning experience, and I have good relationships with the shops and businesses in that district. I'd probably get a small pay raise.

But I'm worried that I'd be hopping from one position where I'm constantly disrespected and ignored, to another.
