It wasn't ball-jointed, I remember being a bit put off when my mother removed the pants of one of her dolls to change its clothes and I discovered it had a flaccid penis. Its anatomy was so stylized--why bother rendering that one specific detail? Especially on a doll that looked like it was eight years old?
