Dave x Karkat. everyone's insisting that they're so obviously canon that you have to be homophobic or a bitter antishipper to not see it. Hussie even made a vine stating that Davekat is canon.
I get why we shouldn't question it too much because of the rhetoric of homophobic assholes...

but the obvious "under"tones that I'm supposed to see are just not there for me, outside of the two Vriskagram scenes.
meanwhile Hussie writes Dave getting hot and bothered over Jane with ten "hot mom" freudian slips per minute while Karkat, who used to get really jealous over other love interests, is right there. and says nothing.

imo Hussie gets praised for not bothering to write any believable male-male attraction that's not comic relief.

Sorry to hear that some shippers are getting you down.

I personally don't mind comic relief, but I understand that Hussie didn't have much space in the endgame part of Homestuck to flesh out Dave and Karkat's relationship enough. At least that what it looks like to me. All those characters, with all those fans, each of them with their own personal favorites...I'm surprised that this particular ship got the amount of screen time that it did, tbh.

but he had enough time to make sexist hot mom jokes over an unconscious Jane... sorry, but he could have taken all the time he wanted to acknowledge that they're in a relationship, instead of taking it for granted. he's not on a schedule. it would take less than two lines.
