Learn your buzzwords. Learn how to add lots of padding words (never use one word when ten will do, ten when a hundred, etc..) when explaining those buzzwords, and grab three textbooks and skin through them to find rough references (maybe a few pop-science books if you know them well enough to hammer a rough quote from them into place) and the most recent copy of whatever popular magazine in your genre is and find an article which is roughly on topic. Now this will all get picked up on by the marker, they will know what you are doing and you can expect that they will mention that in your feedback, but you will also get a passing grade; albeit a begrudging one and probably only just passing.
