I think one of the reasons why I like Scott/Emma so much is because it's a ship that managed to change the status quo.

I wasn't a fan of that either tbh, but I don't like relationships that start out from infidelity so that's more of a gripe on how the writers chose to implement it rather than the actual ship itself, because ignoring that aspect of it I liked it as something different.
