I don't get what it is you want from your friend. For her to pull you aside all "hey, I just realized, I'm actually really lucky that I'm able to wave this fake gun around without facing police harassment. I recognize it's a privilege."

Then what? Should she say "sorry"? Refuse to get the cosplay gun? Promise not to gush about it anymore in your presence? Refuse to gush about it at all? I literally do not get what the fuck it is you SJW types actually want from the people you get snooty with.
