Well, are they purposefully masturbating to leaked nudes or just incidentally? I'm pretty sure intent matters in this kind of judgement, and sometimes it can be hard to tell whether or not you're looking at a sexy pic of an amateur porn star or someone's ex.

Purposefully? Like "I can only get off if I know this is without their consent?" Purposefully?I don't know if anyone does that, but lets say... They know they're leaked nudes, or suspect, but don't care.

When I hear "nudes" I don't automatically think "leaked", but that might just be me. Plenty of celebs have gone nude in films and photoshoots, that's what I think of first.

Uhh... did we just forget about that giant hack in 2014 where there were a whole bunch of leaked nudes of a bunch of different celebrities? People were flocking to that shit to masturbate (for the record, I actively avoided it).

So yes, people will look for nudes knowing they are leaked without consent in order to get off to them. To me that's a little different than doing it by accident.

Like one is actively trying to hurt someone, the other one is passive lack of caring.

Sure. As I would with anything I was choosing to get off to? I would have no way of knowing if they were leaked or not unless someone posted them with the title "my ex's nudes" or something.

That isn't something that usually happens. That was the point.

I don't think they are posted a lot of the time on 4chan. I expect there are WAY less pics without consent than with.

....Well, on the one hand you're right about there being way less leaked nudes than just regular porn.

On the other hand, if you're looking for leaks that's basically the #1 place on the internet to get them. It's a god damn minefield. Sometimes they get contained to threads that are easy to avoid, but sometimes they just infect other things without warning.

Most of the time if I'm on 4chan looking for porn I actually steer clear of the boards where they're most likely to be posted (primarily I'm there for 2DbestD, but occasionally I'll try to find other porn). It does impact my feelings to the extent that I attempt to not search them out and to not look at them if I know what they are.

There's just no way of knowing sometimes though, given that people will post things, others save to repost, and then the source gets lost.
