I've never seen the reverse but it sounds interesting. What are some examples?

I'd like to link to some canons with them but tbh, I usually just see it in fanfic. With Transformers, there's a fair bit of Optimus betraying the Autobots to be a Decepticon with Megatron (although it's not usually treated as a really "evil" action). People write it with other Autobots but Megatron/Optimus is what I've seen the most.

Death Note fanfic features it sometimes too, with L and Light joining up.

Above nonny also mentioned a Supernatural AU with it.

There's a lot of "Love Makes you Evil" in non-fanfiction works but unfortunately, that usually about *becoming* the big bad, not falling in love with the big bad and becoming evil for them. Which is what I want, damn it ):

There is some Hannibal/Will fic that goes that way. "Murder Husbands" is a tag (http://archiveofourown.org/tags/Murder%20Husbands/works).

There are a few Peter/Stiles (Teen Wolf).

I'm pretty sure there are some Supernatural ones out there (in various combinations, depending on who is possessed or addicted or power-mad).

I also remember a few from Smallville.
