Well I've heard nothing but bad things about this show so I'd say you're not the only ones it's just not working for OP.

Is this bad enough to hate-watch? It seems like it might be on the boring side.

Kiznaiver is not bad! :(

The start may be a bit slow but it picks up quick and it can be pretty funny and heartwarming imo. Also the artwork and character designs can be super pretty. 👌

Don't bother replying to Scrubber. The only type of comment she ever makes boils down to: "You don't like something about that canon? That's because the whole canon sucks, so it's your fault for liking it at all!"

You might enjoy hatewatching it. So much ridiculously randumb shit gets shoved into the episodes, it might provide for good "They're doing what now? The fuuuuuck?!" type reactions.

Its pretty disappointing and everything feels so forced. Still, there are some really good moments that keep me watching and hoping. The only character that is remotely interesting or likeable is the one with the short green hair...i dont remember his name. Everyone else is about as stereotypical as it gets. But yeah, there are some good scenes where you can see what the show might have been if it had been handled by better writers.

Yeah, from what I hear the failings seem to fall squarely on the writer Mari Okada's soppy melodramatic ways. I just watched half of the first episode and it seemed... okay. Vague and aimless. I DON'T KNOW MAN. It seems a little BORING.

Beautiful though.
