Re: House (the TV show)
(Anonymous) 2016-06-07 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)I'm kind of meh about the actual finale, or at least most of it. But then finales are always tricky because so much needs to be addressed in order to satisfy everyone. But any complaints I had were washed away by the ending really.
My favorite eps were the ones that really tried to do something different. House was a procedural for the most part, but it did break formula often enough to really shake things up. My least favorite part was when everything became more and more about Huddy. Not because I shipped something else. I loved Amber, liked Stacy, even liked Cuddy at the first few seasons. But constantly getting it shoved down your throat that she was the love of House's life when earlier on they'd established that was Stacy...Ugh.
I loved House fandom. Pretty much everything was on LJ then, so if you didn't want to leave your little happy shipping corner you could stay on one (or several) comms and be satisfied. And never run into any rabid antis or ship wars, both of which were in abundant supply apparently but I only ever heard about them.
