I read YA. I'll read just about anything really. I still reread plenty of my old children's books too. I really don't care what I'm supposed to like or not like.

I question the necessity of those signs too. Are they just trying to make sure that there are enough copies of the books going to the intended audience?

I don't think it's a question of enough copies. If that were the case, there would be signs in the children's section as well.
