They can't talk to each other man, that's gay.

But no I wanted at least one kind of 'how are you? conversation, or maybe talking about what Bucky had been doing for two years, but nope, no time for that(but we have time to shove a fucking 15 min long Peter+Tony convo into the middle of the goddamn movie, cool, whatever).

I knew a hug would not happen, they're action movie bros, they wont touch unless one of them is dying or seriously injured.

They sort of hugged in First Avenger? Sure, it was that manly-no-homo-pat sort of hug, but still.

That Spiderman thing really bugged me. Tom Holland is adorable as Spiderman, but that whole scene...I mean, not only did it just not belong in the film, it just broke the pacing, too.

They have used up their action movie bro hug quota then, no more hugs can be allotted.

Oh it took me right out, like if it had been 5-10 mins it would have worked for me, but nope. It dragged and dragged and for a good chunk of it I just wanted to get back to everything else going on in the movie but we were still there. Gah.

Also - it comes from nowhere? There are no hint prior Tony even knows about his existence. Like, if they were going to go there, they could have set him up as one of those MIT students and spread it over the film?

... That would have made more sense, but tbh that just tells me how late in the game they got Spidey and shoehorned him in because of it.

Yeah and it shows? It's like part of another movie. It sucks. And I think Evans said they cut scenes for it (which, if they were scenes with Steve, Bucky, Sam or Nat - I'd have preferred).

It was really glaringly out of place to me, as you said: part of another movie slapped into the middle of an already busy one. And I hope they didn't cut any Cap crew scenes for him because the fuck, it's not his movie, don't do that.

Granted it didn't feel like a Cap movie to me anyway...

Apparently they did? Afaik there was at least one more Steve/Bucky scene and at least one more Nat scene.

And yeah, I could have done with less Avengers and more Cap (though I did love Wanda in this one).

If it was a straight up Avengers movie it would have been fine(and hell as an Avengers movie I thought it worked), Wanda was the bomb tbh, I enjoyed her a lot, but I dream of a universe where we got the proper tie-off to the Cap trilogy. But that was not meant to be.

Yeah, and the sad thing is it won't happen now? I like CW, but it could have been a better film for the characters.

Yup, anything else we do get with them is going to be in Infinity Wars, they could have cameos in some of the other films before then but I'm not expecting it.
