What killed me was Trump saying he will welcome Sanders supporters with open arms. And knowing many Sanders supporters are actually fucking stupid enough to actually vote Trump over Hillary.

I'm all for bitching about Hillary's faults, but the whole "THIS ELECTION IS RIGGED" whining needs to seriously stop, this widespread delusion is fueled by rightwing media and ridiculously embraced by the left. Like her or not, she's won the popular vote, and she was also more successful with minorities than Bernie. End of. Also, Hillary needs to actually be the president. criticize her to your heart's content but don't let a goddamn republican win, for chrissake.

Wow you have one example of one state, when ultimately, polling numbers confirm that the majority of Hispanic and African-American voters supported Hillary, not Bernie.

And okay you can be a conspiracy theorist if you want, but popular vote has still gone to Hillary.

Just one I remembered off the top of my head. Do Asians and Native Americans not count as minorities these days? Or are you practicing the ever popular "you're only a PoC/woman/LGBT/disabled if you support what I support" narrative?

Go ahead and look up the numbers for Asian and Native American voters, and see which candidate the demographic went for.

Hispanics and black voters are mentioned most often because they are the largest minority groups in the US, so.

I want to bang my head against a wall every time I hear a Bernie supporter talking about supporting Trump. I honestly don't get how they can go on and on about how horrible and calculated and smarmy Hilary is...and then in the very same breath say they're voting for Trump. 'Cause he's just SUCH a bastion of honesty and upstanding and thoughtful rhetoric and action, right?

Like you said, there are indeed very valid critiques to make of Hilary. But deciding to vote for Trump over her makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever.

i can't speak for anyone else, but as a bernie supporter, when i say i'd vote trump over clinton, it's more 'the devil you know.'

trump may be a racist, sexist shitshow of a human being, but at least we know that. hilary wouldn't know how to tell the truth if it bit her in her vag.

This is nonsense. Clinton has been in politics all her adult life and her record for the past 2 decades has been consistently in the spotlight. That's why we can have so many legitimate criticisms of her work, but that's also why we can also make fairly reliable predictions about the kind of policies she will enact as President.

All Trump has proven so far is that he will do and say anything to get votes. What you see is far from what you get. What sort of legislation can we expect from a trump administration? We have no idea.

He won't be. The split in the Democratic party isn't big enough that Hillary will feel forced to choose him. (And that's the only reason I can see that she *would* pick him.)

I really loathe Trump, so I'll vote for Clinton, but I wish I didn't have to. I don't personally know any Sanders supporters who'll be voting for Trump. I do know a couple people who loathe Trump but are voting for him rather than vote for Hilary, but they're all Republicans.
