I think it's really impressive and admirable how you can keep your cool given some of the anon!things that have gone down. You just seem to largely be chill. (Unless someone mentions DC, and then it's fun to watch you get passionate and excited.)

I think I'm over DC, actually! I haven't actually read the comics in a year -- what started off as a short break after Convergence turned into a hiatus. Just too many other things to do.

I'm going through backlogs of FandomSecrets (I'm in March of 2015 right now) so it's really hard to remember what was recent and what I've just been reading.

I'll piggyback on nonnymous's comment because they have an excellent point about resilience. I don't know if you just have tough skin or what, but I find it impressive. You don't deserve the over-the-top hate some people give you.)

I find it baffling, but at the same time the internet in general can be such a clusterfuck of anger and drama that it makes a certain amount of sense. There are always going to be people who overreact and can't let go. Thankfully you don't seem to let it get to you all that much.

Yeah. I admit I took a break for a while when the fedora thing was in full swing mostly because it was getting tiring to see I had a new email and it was yet another goddamn fedora post, but I like coming here. It's a comforting routine and I like most of the people here.

I can see that. One of the good things about having a username is the ability to have everything sent directly to your email, and that can be exciting. If every email was the same annoying thing it would get old fast.

I'm pretty sure you have more dedicated haters (and nastier ones) than I do, so the fact that you manage to remain helpful and concerned about others here is immensely impressive.

The whole thing about my dad, the "dethtoll raped and murdered a teenage girl in 1990," the ones who try to claim I got someone to commit suicide -- they've been getting incrementally loopier over the years, but it's all still funny to me. I've had to learn to take it in stride. That Case usually blams the worst of it is a big part of why I'm still here.
