Also I like you because I feel like you have the miraculous and rare ability to disagree about stuff sometimes and not have it devolve into some kind of weird animosity. Plus, you're undeniably smart and cool. :)

Funny story about my username: usernames and titles for stories are the last thing that truly shows that a non-English language is my native tongue, because I have this tendency to pick unpronounceables.
Like, say, Ketita, which works fine in Hebrew pronunciation, but in English? Nope. My fanfic "mirrorworld" who it took me years until I first said it aloud in English, and discovered that it basically comes out "mirrorrwrrrwrr".

Hell, even my irl name gets messed up by large swaths of the world.

I don't know what it is about your username that makes me want to spell it keitita.

It's not even Japanese. I couldn't be. There is no "ti" sound in Japanese. And yet... my lizard brain insists the first syllable must be KEI because, that's how it is in Japanese names (if the name starts with KE, it's almost never a short KE, always a long KEI).

Obviously.

haha, thanks! I've been pretty not-chill with that at times, but I guess it's all relative. I try to avoid saying really mean things; it's usually not necessary.

Awww, a_potato is pretty incredible, but ketita is good too! And you are so down to earth and easy to talk to that you deserve some credit yourself. Nightscale is right in that you can disagree with someone passionately and yet you never get nasty about it, and I think that's a wonderful quality to have, and a great way to be.

basically 100% of the time I am in the wrong timezone when things are happening BUT I'M GLAD I CHECKED BACK I LOVE YOU TOO we've had good talks :)

to be honest, I love this comm in general. I don't even know how I would fandom at this point if it were gone.

Yeah me too! I think this is mainly where I do fandom online. I have a few people I talk to/fan over stuff with IRL, which I really enjoy, but this is the only online-only space I frequent.
