When I first saw McAvoy sporting the bald look, I thought the same...but apparently I got used to it, because I actually didn't notice Charles becoming bald until the bit where he was "mind fighting" Apocalypse and the juxtaposition of mind-Charles (with hair) and real-Charles (without) made me double-take. "Wait, was he ALWAYS bald in this movie and I never noticed??" Whoops.
