I realize you're kind of joking (but not really), but do you get the main theme of Naruto? I'm not trying to be an ass, it's just that there's a message behind the show. Right?

I just can't stand his popularity in the face of the fact that he willingly betrayed the entire village. (Not seen in the manga for over a year, and still voted most popular character?)
Naruto, sorry kid, but you can't rescue someone acting of their own free will.
But my greater reason for wanting Itachi to win is that it would have been more interesting. See if Sasuke can prove himself worth anything while blind, and see what sort of power Itachi evolves to.

I see the main theme of Naruto as empathy or at least sympathy. Sasuke's motives are hard to understand, and I like the way it's helped a lot of its young viewers who watch it be more patient with one another, at least from what I've observed.
