8. Not related to the secret, but man oh man I wanna see Travis Touchdown fight Kiran ow. In Santa Destroy, Kira would be some god-wannabe with a magic book that when he writes a doodle of the person in it, he can draw them being stabbed by swords and crap and they will manifest out of thin air, and he will endlessly rave on and on on how he is Justice and spout lots pf pseudophilosphical tripe, and then Travis asks him those really easy 'idiot' logic questions and Kira can't answer them because really, he doesn't HAVE any valid answers, and in the end he will die a bitch-death and it turns out he was just this really neat allegory on pathetic people who overhype themselves. It would be neat.

13. OP, I want you to know you made my sister damn near squeal with fangirly delight when she read this. The whole rapbusiness is a goldmine of crackslash to that girl, I tell ya, and she's RIGHT: have you ever seen as much rampant overblown so-manly-and-hetero-it's-really-kinda-gay as in rap? Not likely.

41. Politics as a fandom is starting to scare me. And people who fangirl/boy PUTIN especially. Obama at least seems to give people hope, Putin seems set on management by fear and that's not okay in my world. I guess I'm not as tolerant of badboy-shipping in RL as I am in fandom...

I admit, I am not very wellwersed in just what EXACTLY it is that makes Putin such a scary guy specifically, but I do read up on what Russia is up to currently, what with practically monopolizing the gas-market and strongarming Ukraine into paying exorbitant prizes or assume the position, and the whole situation in Chechnya, and Putin putting people who are old friends of his in charge of Russia now in the latest election... and it's not exactly filling my heart with confidence. Fuck, it's practically making me look back at those old 80's action movies when Americans in the 22nd century were fighting cyper communists, and going "You know, maybe they weren't as wrong as we thought they were."

Russia is goddamn scary right now.

It's not fanart, but I don't know how "canon" you'd call it. It's just from some of the random OP posters/images/etc. out there. There's another one with Sanji and an instrument case and Usopp drawing up in a tree... I think they're all from a similar set.

Aaah, like on of those spreads Oda draws at the start of a chapter? Well, if that is the case it'll probably be easier to find than your average fanart. Thanks!
