Re: HOW DO YOU HANDLE YOUR NOTPS BECOMING CANON/ENDGAME
(Anonymous) 2016-06-12 05:58 am (UTC)(link)If I like super hardcore ship A/B and A ends up getting together with C, who I hate, and there's not much else I like about the show, then there's no question, I'm dropping it.
In the same scenario as above, but I really like other aspects of the show, then I will stick with it, concentrate on the parts I like, and hope that the NOTP will eventually break up.
Honestly, unless a canon pairing interferes with my OTP (as in, one of them gets together with someone else, especially if it's someone I dislike) I don't really care much. Some might annoy me, but it's never enough to stop watching unless there's just absolutely no other redeeming quality at all, and in that case, I probably would've stopped watching already, although I guess a pairing that I don't like becoming canon might be the final straw that actually gets me to drop it, or something.
