seriously. it fucking sucks but it's fucking true.

the president sounds so done with all of this. his tone is so disgusted with the state of everything and I'm right there with him.

I share in his reaction. I'm just angry. So, so, so angry.

Our country really needs to wake up and get a fucking clue on the gun issue already. But Sandy Hook didn't do it (nor have any other school shootings, which is interesting considering how often this country goes into, "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?!" mode with virtually everything else that poses any sort of real or perceived threat), the fact that we've had numerous mass shootings within the last, what, 7 years alone isn't doing it, the fact that this is officially the worst mass shooting in U.S. history isn't doing it, so I'm terrified to find out what the hell WILL do it for people, if anything.

And at this point, it seems like the answer is "nothing". Just. Fuck.
