What we really need is a government who is actually working for the people of this country and the future of this country, and who isn't making vindictive and badly thought out legislation in the first place! I mean the EU is a nice check, I agree, but really it's unbelievable that we need it just to stop our government turning us all back into serfs in the first place.

The problem with corruption is the City of London. Until its political power via donations and corruption is broken, nothing will change. This current govt is just the most open about how blazingly uncaring it is about it being slaved to the city, but it is far from unique in general.

\i wouldn't vote for separation from the eu, but \i'd vote for independence from \city of \london in a heartbeat. \can we not make it go away instead of \brussels

Agree with this entirely. The City of London is a big festering sore of corruption. Plus London is the only city that ever gets served by the effing government. The rest of the country, especially the peripheries, is left to hang.

If the fucking A38 had ran through London or if the West Country had the same number of MPs London has then we'd have fucking fixed it long since. They poured money like it was piss into the Crossrail white elephant, and the fucking dome, but can we stop a main road from running next to one of the UK's most ancient archeological sites, or get a single village back from the MoD (I want to know why Imber has not been returned to its owners!), no we bloody can't. Because it isn't in London and it doesn't affect the city shits.

Agree completely. Also, have you seen the map of potential fracking sites for the UK? Most of the richest areas in the UK are miraculously not included on it.

You mean the A303, that is the Stonehenge debacle, but yeah the A38 is a shitshow that has long needed fixing too. I reckon you are pretty much spoiled for choice in that over there though.
