Re: Work Thread
It's too a department that was historically the worst to go to (huge workload, jobs which are only given to people of my training level due to a domestic element, non-ideal for career development), but due to lots of complicated office politics reasons has become the best place to be.
Looking forward to it because of my current insane workload, and that I'm going to have a really solid team.
Only downside is apparently the department head took great relish in telling my new supervisor what cemented me going there was an incident where I tremendously mugged her off not knowing who she was (the short of it is she tried to hand some work over to me, and I pretty much went 'nah, not happening, you guys will have to deal with that'). Silver lining is she said she'd heard I was quite good at my job.
