TBF, I've seen the point made in a fair few places that Hamilton's popularity is a big contributor to the the failure of a lot of other good shows (Allegiance being a specific cited example). Not saying the point isn't valid, but who's to say what success that or another show might've had if it had come in at the same time or before Hamilton took off.
