not necessarily ISIS-sanctioned, we don't know that yet.

And as horrifying as it is...two in a year doesn't make a pattern here. There's gun violence daily in the US, and several mass shootings in the past few years were done by non-Muslims, as well as many of the most famous in our history with gun violence. It is a gun violence problem as much as it is a radical Islam problem, and in the grand scheme of things, probably more.

It's possibly the second ISIS shooting in the US in a year, assuming the media isn't taking some soundbite out of context.

It's absolutely the 133rd mass shooting in the US so far this year. Which means even if it does turn out to be ISIS-related, there have been 131 mass shootings in the US that have precisely fuck all to do with ISIS.

If 98.5% of the mass shootings have nothing at all to do with your bogeyman, you need to look elsewhere for the root of the problem.

And even if every mass shooting was connected to Islamic terrorism, the fact they have the ability to get weapons in the first place in the U.S. should be a logical, valid concern for that reason alone, if nothing else.
