Re: Work Thread

(Anonymous) 2016-06-12 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm looking for a new job. The one I have right now, I hate the actual job, hate the place I work for, have a mild dislike for most of my coworkers, and do not get paid enough to put up with all of it.

I had my first skype interview a few weeks ago and it did not go well. To start with, the interviewer's camera wasn't working. So they could see me, but I couldn't see them. And then I got stuck on a question. She asked "Describe a time you have to deal with being interrupted." I explained that as a receptionist dealing with interruptions is an issue that happen multiple times a day. And about how I've learned to prioritize and multi-task so the interruptions get dealt with accordingly but do not majorly disrupt my work flow. And then she asked me for a specif example and I blanked. It's not a question I usually prep for.
