It's my one year anniversary at my current job. I need to do three things!!!!!!!!
I need to look for and apply to a better job (I'm pretty sure I have the skills for a much better paying one and I do not want to spend my life in the grocery industry)
I need to ask for a raise because I deserve one and because I know it's good to have my value recognized when job searching.
I have shitty people skills and I need to figure out how to go about looking for and getting a job in the sciences without alienating my current boss or leaving her scrambling the way the woman I replaced did. I don't know if this is possible.

The hardest part of this is the APPLYING for jobs. Nothing like confronting your long long list of failures to make you break down and cry for hours, you know? Wish me luck FS :(
