What do you mean by visual parallel?

I think because each of those pairings has similar color schemes/clothing styles

It always annoys me too. And Kiznaiver has turned into such a predictable show. I dropped it after this week's episode.

I actually like visual parallels. It makes for pretty fanarts.

But I'm a few eps behind on this series and are they SERIOUSLY pairing everyone up like this? Why does Maki need to be with a guy? Why not Nico? Augh.

Spoilers maybe?

None of those are even canon, and the so-called pairings were being forced by Yaamada's experiment. At this point, probably the closest ones to actually happening are Agata and Sonozaki. The other two "pairings" are one-sided with the guys liking the girls. Chidori still likes Agata. And Maki doesn't like any of the Kiznaivers that way and could be bi, for all we know.

Fandom's getting so up in arms about this show ship-pushing, when this current arc is clearly forcing the couplets and showing no, you can't force feelings and those feelings of affection for someone can turn out terribly under certain circumstances.
