Is this better than WTNV?

(Anonymous) 2016-06-13 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
No.

Dunno about others, but I happen to like it better. I still love WTNV and tune in every update, but Alice Isn't Dead is more of the atmosphere I like (mystery horror).

Subjective. I like Night Vale but I got bored with this and stopped listening. But it's still new so I plan on revisiting it when they have more episodes.

I think it is so far, especially if you need more plot to get interested. I even think the Disparition music is better in AID.

I like them about the same? Although I find Alice isn't Dead to be more poetic almost. Like another anon said, it's really good at creating atmosphere.

I feel like "better" isn't the right word for it, because it's a distinctly different genre. But if you like the creepier (non-humorous) elements of WTNV, and you like Jasika Nicole's voice, you will probably get some enjoyment out of it. I personally have tired of WTNV because it feels like it forced itself into a rut with its particular style, but Alice is still fresh and I'm liking it quite a lot.
