Agreed. I will hear people's arguments for GoF being the best, but in my mind nothing ever topped PoA.

The main reason I preferred GoF (my own opinion) was that there was a clear line drawn between what used to be and the reality of what was happening in the Wizarding World--- from the attack at the games to the spider torture, I definitely felt there was a darker more serious tone (granted, Harry thought he was in mortal peril in book 3, and old drama came up). The wizarding world at large was seeing the truth. Also, it was nice to see some world building.

Why do you prefer PoA? (I'm realizing it's not that i don't like it, it just never holds my attention/memory)
