So, I had an interview with a judge who goes to my parents church last week. He gave me the name of an immigration lawyer to talk with and said I could use his name and ask for an interview to talk with the lawyer about practicing immigration law in Texas.

I called today. The lawyer's assistant was really rude and dismissive and wouldn't let me talk to the lawyer. He transferred me to human resources and then hung up on me.

I get that the lawyer probably didn't have the time, but couldn't they have just said that rather than being rude?
