It's diner food. I guarantee you there's nothing special or "delicious" about it. Good at best but usually merely adequate.

I was not expecting food snobbery to pop up in the comments of this secret, wow.

Well, it gives the unwashed masses something to gobble down while we're sipping Veuve Clicquot and nibbling our sevruga caviar, doesn't it? Then we could decide what else people mistakenly believe they like that is merely adequate when measured by our superior standards.

Pfft.. you'll have to pry my cream cheese stuffed french toast from my cold, dead hands.

Dang, wish I lived closer to my favorite diner!

Funny. I thought I had this really good piece of homemade lemon meringue pie in a diner once, but I guess I was wrong. You're clearly in a better position to know if the pie I ate was delicious or not. I feel so foolish now for enjoying it. :(

Delicious is an awfully subjective term.

You are clearly going to the wrong diners. Or maybe you are like me and living in an area where the diners do indeed suck--- but unlike me, have never lived in an area where the diners are awesome and amazing.

"Diner food" is a pretty broad category and some of it is in fact really good.
