I didn't have my first kiss until I was 20. The reasons behind that are complicated. In retrospect I wasn't considered nearly as ugly in high school as I thought I was. However, knowing how emotionally vulnerable I was, it's a damn good thing I didn't start dating earlier. I was ripe to be taken advantage of, and that's happened a few times.

I kind of wish it was with someone who actually liked me back (noticing a trend with my romantic history?) and wasn't using me as a rebound. But he treated me well. It was in a movie theater, and I laughed in the middle of it. That bit I wouldn't change for a second.

Really, that's way cuter and probably nicer than some average spin the bottle scenario.
