Most awesome person I've ever dated is my current girlfriend. And I don't say that lightly. She's a goddamn angel as far as I'm concerned. Introduced me to a good brand of bourbon. Has excellent taste in music. She also encourages me to be a better person, which is harder to find in a romantic partner than you'd think.

Don't trust her to make you an old fashioned, though. That isn't an old fashioned. It's bourbon with the whiskey sour mix just dumped in, then with some cherries, and I'm sure it matters that we forgot the bitters. It was delicious, though. Too delicious. This girl is HARDCORE and I love it. I love her. I didn't realize what I was missing until it swept me off my feet.

The worst is my last relationship. It's like they were going for a high score. The actual relationship was fine. It was realizing that it was not actually a relationship at all that almost killed me. I think from beginning to end all I was to him was a cover story and a couple of convenient orifices who could also talk about movies. I seriously think I may have done something to myself if I wasn't living with my parents that semester and distracted by the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest livestream the very next day. Luckily I don't think it's going to get any worse than that unless I end up with an abuser, so I'm glad I hit my negative peak before 30 and without getting knocked up.

For the record I've only seriously dated two people so my options were limited.
