The Mississippi River Apes aren't that closely related to Sasquatches.

I don't know. It's unlikely that they'd meet in the wild, but maybe if someone finally managed to capture one of each, they could try to breed them and see what happens.

NAYRT--I dunno, aquatic apes would probably not have much body hair and would store subcutaneous fat, so they'd be, I dunno, fat, naked people who maybe had webbed toes and fingers? I don't think they'd look much like Sasquatch, which would be like bears compared to manatees or something.

Well, no one said they were aquatic. They could just live near the river.
