Ugh, Detroit: Become Human. My best friend is a huge Quantic Dream fan, so I'm not gonna hear the end of it. THE ONLY THING THEY'RE GOOD AT IS FACE CAPTURE.

Well, it's David Cage, so they're also great at: needlessly sexualizing female main characters, making incoherent plot twists, inserting random drug/psychology references for shits and giggles, and generally telling a really shitty story with maybe one or two interesting characters if you're really lucky.

Well, uh... to be honest, I like incoherent drug stories. They don't appeal to me when Cage does them, though. And fuck his shitty gameplay.

Oh I have nothing wrong with a story having drug/psychosis plotlines as long as there's some kind of reason for it or it contributes to the narrative. Cage seems to just like to insert them into his work in order to ... idk, be a cool guy?

You're not a cool guy, David Cage. You're not.

I can't be the only one who thinks it's weird

that Detroit apparently has so few Black people.

I'm not going to scream racism because I literally don't think David Cage understands what's weird about this. I think he just sees Detroit as "oui oui that car place." But it's WEIRD.

I like story-driven games like this a great deal, but honestly I'm majorly squicked out by people being treated like objects, and that original short kind of traumatized me a little. So I'm not sure. I might stick to let's plays.
